With a discouraged heart I went to my job of dishes. Such a big challenge! not the dishes, but a greater challenge a challenge that many have taken up.* Acts. and I'm only on Chapter 4! 2 chapters behind! "I'm so far behind!" I told my sister "were are you?" she asked so I told her, she went and fetched her paper and taped it up on the window so I could make sure I was in the right spot. I started out:
"And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them, Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead. And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide."... (Acts 4:1-3)
On and on, I was so surprised I new more than I had thought! I guess the time I've spent listening to it over and over has done more than I had thought! It seems I've listened to those chapters 100 times!
I've noticed something though, it seems that almost every blog has something about Acts and working on it! It's like every one has caught the virus! A good virus.
Well I need to go. Worship time is here.

God's Fireworks
The lightning flashed almost continuously, the thunder rolled and the rain pored it's torrance upon the earth making such awesome display of Gods Power. Poor Graci, she was scared of the noise and was panting nervously until mommy had her come and lay down beside her than she quieted down. Em and Beth had their cameras and the they were snapping photos left and right. The Storm was the most intense lightning storm that I've ever seen! It fallowed a storm form the night before, very similar in size.
I think the pictures will speak for themselves.

A morning walk with Jesus
The sun was streaming through the trees, little water droplets still clung to the blades of grass and the songs of birds gushed from field and tree. The glory of it all filled my heart to overflowing and I had to sing with them. Mr. Meadow Lark put up with my rusty imitation, but soon I left the solo up to him.
As I continued I noticed that though I heard many birds I didn’t see even a trace of them. So I asked my best friend who always comes along with me to set some in my pathway so that I could watch His creation. “Jesus,” I asked “please, won’t you send me some birds or a squirrel; I would really enjoy watching them. Thank you! in your name, Amen.” It couldn’t have been more than a minute later that two little sparrows came fluttering down 15-20 feet away.
A soft sweet call drew my attention away, a Flycatcher flitting through the teasel, sang his sweet tune, then a towhee flew up to a branch near me and nerves as he was he still chirped the little tune God has given him.
